Trip Overview
This 6-day budget safari is designed for travelers who want the full Tanzanian safari experience without breaking the bank. You’ll visit three of the country’s most iconic destinations Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater all while enjoying the simplicity and authenticity of budget camping.
Your adventure begins in Arusha, where you’ll meet your guide and set off for Tarangire, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. From there, you’ll journey across the vast Serengeti plains, spending two nights camping under a star-filled sky and watching predators and prey in their natural rhythm. The trip ends with a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five in a single day.

Throughout the safari, you’ll travel in a 4×4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof for great wildlife viewing. Meals are freshly prepared by your safari cook, and evenings are spent swapping stories by the campfire. It’s a trip that combines affordability, adventure, and incredible wildlife encounters perfect for solo travelers, friends, or anyone seeking an authentic African experience.
