It depends on what you want to see. For classic game viewing and dry weather, June to October is ideal. For lush landscapes, birdwatching, and fewer crowds, November to May is a great choice.
Yes! We carefully plan routes to maximize your chances of seeing the migration. The herds are in the southern Serengeti early in the year, move north by mid-year, and are near the Mara River crossings between July and October.
It varies. For a taste, 3–5 days can cover one or two parks. To explore multiple regions (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, etc.), 7–10 days gives you a more relaxed pace. Longer trips allow for travel buffer, optional activities, and downtime.
Options range from budget campsites to mid-range lodges/tented camps, to luxury lodges. There are also mobile or seasonal camps, especially if you want to follow the migration more closely.
Yes. When you travel with a reputable operator, follow guides’ instructions, respect wildlife rules, and use common-sense measures (secure valuables, avoid isolated areas at night, etc.), the risk is low.
Your safety is our priority. Our guides are experienced professionals, our vehicles are well-maintained, and we follow all park and wildlife regulations.
You should check with your travel clinic, but typical recommendations include Yellow Fever (if coming from a yellow fever zone), Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, Tetanus, etc. Malaria prevention is often advised. It’s best to arrange this several weeks before your trip.
Most visitors will need a visa to enter Tanzania. Many nationalities can apply for an e-visa beforehand; others can get one on arrival. Always check current rules for your country.
Bring neutral-coloured, lightweight clothes for day; something warm for early mornings or high elevation. Good walking shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, binoculars, camera with extra batteries. Also insect repellent, a rain jacket (depending on season), and any personal medications.
Cost is driven by length, accommodation level, number of people, transport (whether flying between parks or driving), and included activities. We offer various levels (budget → luxury) so it’s best to discuss your preferences for a tailored quote.
Our packages typically include private 4×4 vehicle, professional guide, park fees, accommodations, meals as specified, and bottled drinking water. Flights to Tanzania are not included but we can assist with bookings.

Yes, children are welcome, though very young ones may find long drives or dusty conditions challenging. Some lodges have minimum age restrictions; we can help suggest child-friendly options.
Early morning drives typically begin just after sunrise (~6:30-7:00 AM) when animals are most active. Afternoon drives are also possible. Game drive durations vary (half day, full day) depending on your itinerary and park rules.
Mostly, no extra permits are needed beyond the park entry fees. If you plan to use a drone, film for commercial purposes, or enter restricted areas, there may be additional permissions required in advance.
Usually 4×4 safari‐vehicles. Depending on distance and comfort level, some itineraries may include domestic flights to save travel time. Roads between parks may be unpaved; expect some bumpy rides.
Many lodges/camps offer WiFi, but connectivity in remote areas may be weak or inconsistent. If staying connected is important (for work or safety), let us know so we can plan accordingly.
Not always. Some camps use solar power or generators that run only during certain hours (often turned off after dinner until morning). If you have medical equipment or need charging at all hours, inform us in advance.
You must follow park regulations: stay inside vehicles during drives, keep a safe distance from animals, and avoid disturbing them. Guides enforce these rules for your safety and wildlife preservation.
For peak seasons (July-August, December-January), lodges and camps can fill well in advance. For optimal choice in accommodations and fair pricing, booking 4-6 months ahead is advised; for luxury options, more lead time may be needed.
Travel insurance is highly recommended. Make sure it covers medical emergencies, evacuation, lost luggage, trip cancellation, and any adventure activities included in your itinerary.
We offer flexible terms whenever possible and will work with you to adjust dates or itineraries if you need to reschedule. Travel insurance is highly recommended for extra peace of mind.
