This 2-day safari is perfect for travelers short on time but eager to see Tanzania’s wildlife highlights. You’ll have your choice of three exciting routes: Tarangire & Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire & Serengeti, or Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater. Each option gives you game drives, overnight camping, and the chance to spot elephants, lions, and (with some luck) the Big Five.
Your journey starts in Arusha, traveling in a 4×4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof for the best viewing. You’ll enjoy freshly cooked meals from your safari cook and spend one night in a public campsite either inside Serengeti or near Ngorongoro/Tarangire depending on the route.
This quick safari is ideal for travelers passing through, weekend adventurers, or anyone looking to add a short but unforgettable safari to their trip.
If you want the best chance to see the Big Five, choose Option 1 (Tarangire & Ngorongoro). Serengeti options are great if you want more big cat sightings.
